About

The Vincent 3D Rendering Library is an open source project working on graphics libraries based on the OpenGL ES API family published by the Khronos Group. The project started in late summer 2003 right after the release of the OpenGL ES 1.0 API specification at Siggraph. Since then the projects has been extended to incorporate the OpenGL ES 1.1 features set. In early 2006, a built of the Vincent library underwent the official OpenGL ES conformance procedures for the Common Light profile. Since summer 2005, work based on the OpenGL ES 2.0 API specification has been going on, and an initial version of the libraries is due to be released shortly. You can learn more about these software packages on the Software page.
